The Human body; Injury & Recovery
I continue to be in awe of how brilliant the human body is!
Recently, I suffered an injury while in another Country, which didn’t get looked at for several days, initially needing the bones reset then followed by surgery.
Rest, vitamins, supplements, meditation and kindness were all enhanced to assist with the healing and although all very beneficial, the body knows what it needs and follows it’s own schedule!
My body dealt with the maximum that it would tolerate and only when it was improving would it allow more.
The bottom line is that regardless of how fit and healthy you are; what ever efforts you undertake to escalate your healing; the body does what it needs to in whatever timeframe it needs.
Patience, acceptance, surrendering and gratitude are all appreciated in a new light after this experience! Your body is your temple and so it should be worshipped!
