I have always had an interest in design, architecture, travelling, style and decorating. Around 15 years ago I decided to further that interest with some formal education. Approximately six months into my training I was diagnosed with environmental allergies and could not continue.
It took some time for me to sort through the different ways these allergies were affecting me. I altered my surroundings and lifestyle to feel better. After two years, the allergies and related restrictions expanded into food and beverages. Never before had I considered how much everything you eat and drink affects your health and well-being!

I was forced to make major changes to my diet and lifestyle. As someone who loves to cook it was quite difficult for me to have culinary restrictions that tended to result in flavourless and unappealing food. I started researching and experimenting with many new and different ingredients, and to my surprise there were fantastic results. I recorded these great recipes to make them again and share them with friends and family as well. In the process it became evident to me that other people with food restrictions and allergies may also be struggling to find tasty and easy-to-make dishes. This led me to create and publish my recipes.

I am always experimenting in the kitchen and throughout my home – both in-doors and out – creating new things, decorating, modifying and adjusting to enhance a healthy, safe and appealing environment to live in. I have also been able to enjoy travelling within North America and many countries with a few easy adjustments.
